More energetic Leisure
There is ample room for surfiing at the beaches. Or visit West Cornwall Golf Club at Lelant (open to non-members). Alternatively explore the stunning countryside on horse back. There are riding schools in the area.
Of course with there being so many beaches there are various surf-schools and board hire in the area.
Hayle
Local independent shops and a museum. Bustling little quayside town with an industrial heritage.
Eating and Drinking
Apart from the local village pub (The Turnpike Inn) there are numerous restaurants, cafes and pubs in nearby Hayle and local villages. (Please see 'Links' page)
St Ives
The really best way to visit this famous town of artists' colonies, museums and galleries is to take the scenic coastal train (from St Erth). The views of the coast from the train are stunning.
